Our story

Their first meeting happened on a night that almost went very differently.

Alexandre and Sandi's story began during their time at Brock University. Alexandre had stopped by a small pre-party with a friend before heading out for the evening. As the night went on, he was getting ready to leave when Sandi walked out of her room. She hadn't even planned to be there that night, but the moment Alexandre saw her, he walked over to introduce himself.

That quick introduction turned into something much bigger.

After that night, Alexandre made sure to stay in touch. What started as messages and conversations quickly turned into daily check-ins, long talks, and eventually their first date. From the beginning, it was clear they had something special.

Their relationship grew alongside their time at Brock. Alexandre continued working toward his Computer Science degree while building his career in software, and Sandi pursued her Master's in Applied Disability Studies. Through busy schedules, late nights of studying, and everything life brought their way, they kept choosing each other.

On June 21st, 2025, Alexandre got down on one knee and asked Sandi to marry him. She said yes.
